A leading executive
within the open source industry, Ron Bongo serves as a CEO of Corra Technology,
which is known to many as CorraTech. Presently, he has over twenty years of
experience within a variety of backgrounds. His experience includes finance,
management consulting, in addition to his experience within the technological
field.
Initially his venture started within the software
industry. Early in his experience that involved working with clients he
realized the benefits open source provided them. From that point, Ron Bongo
began to adopt open source into his work. Eventually he became a partner of
Microsoft.NET and then moved onto Linux open source in 2003.
Currently, Ron Bongo
serves as an advocate for Open Solutions Alliance (OSA), which is a non-profit
vendor-neutral consortium. They are dedicated to promoting the adoption of open
source solutions. In consideration of all of his experience, he believes that
there is sure to be significant growth for the company at which he works.
