Deven
Parekh Insight Venture Partners was founded originally by Jeff Horing and
Jerry Murdock in 1995. The company is based in New York as a private equity and
venture capital. Primarily, most of what the firm does relates to the focus on
software, as well as Internet-enabled businesses.
Presently, the Deven Parekh Insight
Venture Partners have a capital base of about three billion. Previously
Daven Parekh was a Principal for the banking firm known as Berenson Minella
& Company. They are also based in New York and that is where he served on
the company’s M & A committee.
Before the Deven Parekh Insight
Venture Partners and Benson Minella & Company, he worked with the
Blackstone group, which he served within principal activities as well as M
& A advisory duties. Currently he has a BS in Economics from the Wharton
School, located at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a Henry
Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
